Mesotherapy is used today to:

  • Remove fat from places such as chest, thighs, buttocks, elbows, wings, head, and face.
  • Reduce cellulitis.
  • Fade of wrinkles and lines.
  • Stretch loose skin.
  • Recontour of the body.
  • To lighten the pigmented skin.
  • Treat alopecia, a disease that induces loss of hair.

The procedure uses very fine needles to apply a sequence of doses to the skin’s middle layer (mesoderm). The theory behind mesotherapy corrects underlying problems such as inadequate circulation and inflammation that cause skin damage.

There is no standard formula for mesotherapy-injected substances.

Doctors use a variety of common solutions, including:

  • Prescription drugs such as vasodilators and antibiotics.
  • Hormones such as calcitonin and thyroxine.
  • Enzymes such as collagenase and hyaluronidase.
  • Herbal Extract.
  • Vitamins, minerals.
