Skin tags appear because of friction of the skin with clothes, jewelry, or movement. These benign growths can be flesh-colored or appear as dark pigmented. These bumps are common in adults though they can produce in anyone.

Research

Studies show that these skin tags are linked with genetic factors, and if it prevails in your family, you can develop them with your age. Since these are harmless, you don’t need to get them removed, but if you want, they can be removed in the office.
